I would like you to think about a situation for a second. Lets say that you have a friend who is a drug dealer. You do not know for 100% fact that he is, but you have your suspicions. Now, lets say he asks to borrow your car for a trip. Again, you are not

Dan Mickle - Personal Bio
There are a lot of sides to my life. I tend to dabble in a lot of different things. I am a pure product of the West Shore School District. I went to Fairview Elementary, Allen Middle, and Red Land High. I am married to my best friend Teri and have a wonder daughter Morgan (who was born on July 4th, 2008). We have two dogs, Mojo Jojo (a Rat Terrier) and Jaida (a black Lab). We do have another daughter on the way, who is due in August. I am the ower/CEO of a local IT support company called NetGuruz. I am very involved with volleyball both as a player and coach. That is pretty much it for my "quick" bio. There is a lot more to post and eventually I will. I hope to get more on here about my time as a DJ, and internet radio station owner, photographer, poker player, and all the other crazy things I have engrossed myself in over the years. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
Dan Mickle - Professional Bio.
Currently, I am the founder, owner, and CEO of NetGuruz Inc. We are a local I.T. support and security firm that specializes in the legal and insurance fields. We handle everything from home user support to corporate security (that goes beyond the computer world). We feel that there is a special niche that requires different training when dealing with the legal and insurance industries, as opposed to other industries. Before starting NetGuruz, I worked in a slew of tech jobs from sales to technical marketing. I have taken keypoints from all these positions to create a unique atmosphere with NetGuruz that is not only efficient, but personable. My goal is to position NetGuruz as your friendly “tech guys” like many service people where in previous generations. Over the years, I have held many certifications from technology providers, but I have always felt knowledge and the ability to think outside of the box will trump a piece of paper anytime. Please feel free to download a copy of my professional resume below, or to visit the NetGuruz site.Dan Mickle - Volleyball Bio.
Volleyball has always been a huge part of my life both as a player and as a coach. As a player I have played beach doubles since I was 14. I have won medals in the Keystone State Games and the State Games of America. I played numerous events on the AVP, EEVB, GAV, MAV, and IEVB circuits. One of my biggest accomplishments (other than getting an ace on Olympic gold medalist Phil Dalhausser) is winning the 2000 USAV Men’s Open Beach AA National Championship. I am also a founder of Soul Volleyball Club. We are a club bases around adult indoor sixes in the Harrisburg Area.
As a coach, I have been the head coach for Red Land High School boy’s for 9 years (JV coach for 3 prior). I was on the coaching staff from day one of the program. With the boys, we have won 3 Mid Penn Championships (2005,2006, and 2009) and have been ranked in the top 20 in the state 3 times. I have also recently taken over the girls program at Red Land in 2007. In 2009 the Lady Patriots returned to the post season for the first time in 8 years. I have been named Mid Penn coach of the year 5 times. I also have been coach the men’s team at H.A.C.C. where I compiled a 68-6 record in four years, and have led the Hawks to the MACVC Final 4 three out of four years. I am also the club Co-Director for Yorktowne Boy’s Volleyball, an elite boy’s junior club on the east coast.
DJ Bio
What started out a comment one night in a bar, lead to one of the most entertaining periods of my life. While sitting at a happy hour 12 years ago I made a comment to a friend that the music selection was horrible, and the DJ needed to be fired. The comment back was the typical “Well, why don’t you do it then, if you are so good.” I never really took it serious until I became friends with a local DJ celebrity (Big John) and he called me to fill in one night when he was in a pinch. My first time ever DJ’ing would be at one of the biggest gigs around, Wanda’s Friday Happy Hour. After the nerves stopped, I realized I was hooked. I would end up being put in the regular Friday/Saturday rotation on the deck for the next 6 years.
After Wanda’s I ended up splitting the resident DJ job with Big John at the biggest Sunday party (and largest party in the area) at Angelina’s. This was the best time of my life as a DJ. I was at a bar I loved, with a great party every Sunday, and it would last for the next 7 years. I eventually would add in Thursday night Karaoke and Saturday night parties. Angelina’s was eventually sold and the new owners no longer did the dance parties. It was a great run while it lasted. I DJ’ed special nights or guest spun at pretty much ever bar in Harrisburg and a few sweet gigs at the beach. Every once and a while you can catch me doing a friends wedding or a guest show somewhere, but for the most part I have retired the turntables.
Quick Thoughts
So there is a lot of talk about how to save Harrisburg money and the financial woes they are in. I have the perfect solution. CASH 4 GOLD. I mean seriously, look at that statue above. Just think how much money the city could get for that. I am sure there are more than enough

Well it is official. I am now a college graduate. I earned my A.A. in General Studies with a concentration in Sports Management. I earned a 4.0 this semester (10 credits). This has by far been my best semester at college. Not sure what the future holds yet, but I know I am not done

So I have to admit that I was not sure I would like Watchmen. I was familiar with the graphic novel before it became a movie, and I was not that in to it. When I saw the original previews I felt like it was a cheap X-Men knock-off. Overall I give it a 3.5

Dear Brother Earl…You were more than just a fellow brother to me. You were a friend and a mentor. I will never forget the short time we had together. I hope that I can honor you by living up to the masonic standards you taught me. May you rest in peace.
On The Brain

The Volley Life
I was going to write this blog to complain about the way the adults in the K.R.V.A. (Keystone Region Volleyball Association) has been mishandled, and how some recent developments will actually hurt things worse than they are (if that is possible). I have since decided that doing so would not be the correct approach. I

Make Me Thin
I have been toying with the idea of how and when to officially start my program. As usual there are a lot of excuses on when to start. I have a lot going on in life (school, work, and coaching), but I can not longer hang on to those excuses. So here is my official

Coaches Corner
This is a topic that is usually heated or debated, but in all honesty there is no need for it. The way I see it, there are three types of club coaches in the volleyball world. The funny part is, you have some coaches (like myself) that bounce from time to time from all three

Cheers & Jeers
So over the past few years (10+) I have lived in the same house. It was pretty much me and some roommates once and a while. It is a 2,500 sq. ft. house with technically 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 1 den, and the rest of the normal stuff. The problem is that I never
